A tool for healthcare reform

We refuse to let the dollar define who we are as clinicians. Healthcare today misses the mark and is fraught with systemic racism and inequality, leaving most marginalized communities with worse outcomes than their neighboring zip codes. At Finding Healthfulness, we choose a pay-what-you-can model, not for philanthropic reasons, but as an act of defiance against a system motivated by the wrong things.

An abundance mindset

We see each client as an individual inherently worthy of respect and capable of entering into a mutually beneficial coaching relationship. We believe each person who chooses to work with us is already taking the difficult step to get the help and support they need to make lasting changes to their health, and we have a sustainable business practice that can meet their needs.

Feel seen and heard

We acknowledge the inherent value in every human and choose to interact with them in a way where they feel seen. This includes your finances. If you’ve been treated differently because of your sexual preference, gender, skin color, zip code, size of your body, or the money you make, you won’t find these practices here. We are committed to affirming you as an individual through a coaching approach that elevates you as your own expert on your own health. We feel passionate about offering affordable, inclusive coaching services to the people who need it most.

our model is sustainable

Most coaches on this platform generally have a full-time practice elsewhere with their own unique needs, which prevents them from offering affordable rates to their clients every day. Some, however, choose to do this full-time if their lives allow for these rates to meet their financial needs. This platform allows these healthcare professionals to offer their coaching services for as many hours per week as their calendar and budget allow. Finding Healthfulness provides the platform and relationships to connect these healthcare providers to everyday people looking to reclaim their health.

Having trouble deciding what to pay?

We put together some considerations for you before you come to your appointment if this is a topic that raises some questions or concerns. We acknowledge that talking about money can be challenging or triggering for some people. Please know that our intention is not to make anyone feel uncomfortable with a pay-what-you-can model, but rather, empowered by the fact that we understand each person has a unique financial story. We honor your uniqueness and choose to meet you where you are.

We know you can’t wait any longer to get the coaching you need to make lasting change, and we won’t let money get in the way of your ability to have quality care. While we do not offer free services, we will enter into a mutually consensual relationship for our sessions at a price you can afford.

You will see the image below captures some of the things to think about when considering a price that suits you. Please take into consideration that the full price for one hour of individual coaching is $100 and for half an hour is $50. So consider the full green bottle on the left to represent $100 for an hour or $50 for half an hour. You can then decide your payment based on your own personal needs.
